These are the main characters in the show that you see almost all the time.

The star of our undersea realm, is Spongebob Squarepants. Spongebob lives in beautiful Bikini Bottom, in a giant pineapple. His best friends are Patrick Starfish and Sandy Cheeks. He has a pet snail named Gary, and he is the best fry cook ever. He works at The Krusty Krab, and loves his job. For fun he goes jellyfishing.

Patrick Starfish is Spongebob's best friend. He's not all that bright, but he's a great guy ! He loves jellyfishing, and doing all sorts of things with Spongebob, which includes going to balloon world, the zoo to see the giant clam, and annoying visiting Squidward. He lives under a giant rock.

This is Sandy Cheeks. Sandy is a squirrel originally from Texas. She feels more at home though under the sea, in a big underwater dome. Her best friend is Spongebob. She loves doing anything athletic, and she is very very strong and in great shape! She likes karate chopping Spongebob any chance she gets. Sometimes she gets homesick for Texas but she knows that she loves it in Bikini Bottom with her friends.

Mr. Krabs has a big love in his life: Money. He owns the Krusty Krab, a popular undersea burger joint, and his specialty is the secret ingredient in the krusty krab burger, but no one will ever know! Besides Mr. Krabs and Spongebob, his prize Fry cook. Mr Krabs can be very greedy, but he is also a good man, most of the time.

Squidward Tentacles is very easily annoyed. He gets highly irritated with Spongebob and Patrick, who are his neighbors. He also works at the Krusty Krab. He loves to play the clarinet (He's good at it too!), and appreciates art. He can be a bit of a snob, and can even be mean to Spongebob, but deep inside he likes him, he just doesn't realize it most of the time. ;)

This is Gary! Spongebob's loved pet snail, who thinks he is a cat. He even mews! Gary is smarter than he seems, and always knows when Spongebob is getting himself into something he shouldn't. Gary seems to love cookies an awful lot, too.

Plankton owns the chum bucket, and is always trying to find out Mr Krab's secret recipe for his burgers! He never seems to be able to steal a burger though. Sometimes he tries to manipulate poor Spongebob, he hasn't succeeded yet in catching the recipe!

Mrs Puff (Poppy) is a puffer fish, and she teaches boat driving lessons. She always seems to get into accidents teaching Spongebob and is a bit frightened of him because of that. She has a soft spot for Mr Krabs.
